Digital innovation studio Skylab has been appointed by English Lacrosse, the sport’s National Governing Body, to create their digital strategy, website and more following a competitive pitch. Set to be unveiled throughout 2012 and beyond, Skylab will be working closely with the English Lacrosse team to create their overarching digital strategy, website, social media and online video marketing platform to help inform, inspire and educate a new generation of lacrosse players.
Nigel Collier, Managing Director, Skylab, comments: ‘Lacrosse is a fantastic action-packed sport with a lot of potential for growth. Skylab are expert in digital sport marketing, working with national governing bodies and major sporting brands such as British Swimming, Round The World Yacht Race and Manchester United.
Skylab have significant experience in increasing both online traffic and increasing offline participation in sport, helping any NGB create new revenue streams from digital platforms. Skylab’s online video platform MediaTank was also seen as an innovative opportunity to promote Lacrosse to a global audience.’
