Christmas 2012 - Vermilion Style…

Get in touch on Twitter and say Hello!

It’s that time of year again and the festive season is upon us. The team at Skylab were treated to a unique dining experience at Asian concept restaurant Vermilion in Manchester as part of our Christmas Do.

Over 3 storeys, this building has a huge luxurious dining area on the 2nd floor which Vermilion describe as a ‘hallucinatory world of Asia’. As you come out of the lift you are met with atmospheric lighting and rich asian decor and a definite sense of luxury.

On arrival we were shown to our reserved area, the centre piece being a huge wooden round table which all 14 of us could sit around. Once we’d pulled the crackers and put our paper hats on it was all looking very ‘King Arthur’.

After the meal we all ventured upstairs to the ‘Cinnabar’ for cocktails. This area is equally as luxurious and probably entertains the odd premiership footballer at the weekend. With our own private bed we soaked up the atmosphere as well as a fair few alcoholic beverages and partied into the wee the small hours.

A great night was had by all with a few sore heads the next day.

Merry Christmas!!
