City knew that they needed to reward their loyal fans and help them enjoy the City website even more. Job one for us was to find out just what it was the fans would appreciate most. It didn’t take much to learn that every City fan wants to be closer to the heart of the team.
City wanted to give the fans the chance to be as close as possible to their team, support their investment in the team and reward their loyalty with the new auction website.
City Auctions is a members-only auction site which allows city fans to bid on once in a blue moon items, memorabilia and experiences, tickets to overseas games and behind-the-scenes action. Members were also able to earn credits with every pound spent.
During the first auction, fans placed over 2,600 bids in the first hour!
