Clipper Events offer you a unique chance to sail with some of the worlds greatest sailors. From Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, the first man to sail solo non-stop around the globe in 1968, to today's greatest Olympic sailors. This is the the ultimate money-can’t-buy opportunity to sail with a legend.
Catering
There’s nothing like a day on the water to work up a healthy appetite. At Clipper we believe that good quality fresh food can only enhance your experience. All of our food is sourced through a local delicatessen using fresh, seasonal produce from local growers.
Our Clipper breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are included in the package. If you would like food to play a larger part in your sailing experience, we also have the Clipper Gourmet Catering options.
Branding
Branding a 68ft racing yacht will give any corporation huge presence on the water. Some of the world’s leading companies and directors can be found on the water at industry events and established regattas such as Cowes Week. Set your company apart from the fleet and the competition.
Branded Clothing
Sailing is about team work and team identity. Branded clothing not only reinforces the team’s identity, but works as the perfect billboard for your company when teams go ashore.
Venues
Clipper’s dedicated hospitality suite is just a 3 minute walk from the yachts and is perfect for meeting and greeting, presentations and informal buffet-style catering. On sunny days, the outdoor patio area is an ideal spot to relax with a morning cup of coffee or an evening BBQ with a few cold beers.
Clipper Ventures has access to Some of the South Coast’s most exclusive and unique venues. Used specifically for hospitality and to entertain corporate guests, the Hatherleigh is a converted 35m fishing trawler and provides an unusual hospitality venue that guest will remember. Similarly, we have access to Warrior, Portsmouth’s historic battleship, yacht clubs and a host of fantastic restaurants.
Photographer
You’re first over the finish line, beating your opposition by only a boat length. There’s a picture for the office wall! Giving guests a permanent reminder of their sailing experience, our professional marine photographer captures the excitement and exhilaration of a day on the water.
Trophies
Give teams something to strive for and mark a great day’s competition on the water with an event trophy. We can arrange medals or small, individual trophies right up to hand crafted sculptures specifically tailored to your event.
Luxury Motor Yacht
The White Swordsman is a beautifully appointed classic motor yacht, the perfect compliment to our racing fleet. White Swordsman is ideal for transferring guests in comfort and entertaining in style for those who would rather experience the thrill of racing from the comfort of a luxury launch.
Helicopter Transfers
Escape the city that bit quicker and arrive on the South Coast in relaxed style with a helicopter transfer. There are pick up points across the country and a landing pad just ten minutes drive from the marina. We’ll have a car on standby to collect guests and we’ll have a hearty breakfast ready for their arrival.
