In 12 years of Clipper Round the World yacht racing, the winning boat has always been crewed by the team that works best together. In the same way, in business often the most successful corporations are where management and team work seamlessly together with a clear focus.
Clipper offers relevant, effective and bespoke management training and team development events. We use highly trained facilitators to bring business and management theory together with sailing skills, ensuring lessons learnt on the water are applied in the board room.

Clipper City Challenge
A two day event, the Clipper City Challenge brought together sailors from some of the worlds leading financial companies to battle it out on the water in a race round the Isle of Wight.
On a fantastic sunny July morning, the fleet of 68s left Royal Clarence Marina and headed out onto the Solent for a day of sail training and team building. It wasn’t long before the crews were at ease sailing 68ft racing yachts, ready to battle it out for the City Challenge trophy.
After the day’s training, the crews made the most of the long summer evening, dinning al fresco in the beautiful port of Lymington, giving them a chance to unwind and relax before a heady day of high seas action. With a prize draw ranging from signed merchandise from Olympic Champion Ben Ainslie and Champagne to an Alfa Romeo track day, teams gave generously to the raffle in aid of Sail for Cancer.
